Do Not Sell My Information
Your California Privacy Rights
Last Updated: October 6, 2025
At Trenziio, we respect your privacy and are committed to complying with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page provides California residents with a dedicated place to exercise their right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.
1. Your Rights Under the CCPA
As a California resident, you have the right to direct a business that sells or shares your personal information to stop doing so. This is known as the “right to opt-out.”
2. What “Selling” or “Sharing” Means to Us
We believe in being completely transparent about how we operate.
We Do Not Sell Information for Money: First and foremost, Trenziio does not sell your personal information to data brokers or any third party in exchange for monetary compensation. We have never done this, and we never will.
“Sharing” for Advertising Purposes: The CCPA has a very broad definition of “sell” that may also include what is now defined as “sharing.” “Sharing” under the CPRA refers to disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Like many online businesses, we use common digital advertising tools (such as cookies, pixels, and other technologies) that may share certain technical information (like your device ID, IP address, and browsing activity) with our advertising partners. This helps us show you more relevant ads for Trenziio products on other websites and platforms. Under California law, this activity may be considered “sharing.”
3. How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
You have two primary ways to control the sharing of your information:
Cookie-Based Sharing: To opt out of sharing your information for targeted advertising purposes that rely on cookies, you can manage your preferences through your web browser’s privacy settings to block third-party cookies.
Formal Opt-Out Request: To formally exercise your right to opt-out for all other applicable forms of “sharing,” please submit a request to us by:
Emailing us at: contact@trenziio.com
Please make the subject of your email “CCPA Opt-Out Request” and include your full name and the email address associated with your past orders or account so we can locate your information.
4. The Verification Process
To protect your privacy and security, we will need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will do this by matching the information you provide in your request (e.g., your name and email address) with the information we have in our records. If we cannot verify your identity from the information provided, we may request additional information.
5. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require you to provide the agent with written permission to do so and to verify your own identity directly with us.
6. Important Notes
Opting out of the “sharing” of your information for advertising purposes does not mean you will stop seeing all ads from Trenziio. It means the ads you see may not be personalized based on your past activity.
This opt-out is separate from our marketing email list. To unsubscribe from our newsletters, please use the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email.
This opt-out does not affect the essential sharing of your information required to fulfill your orders, such as sharing your address with our shipping carrier (USPS) or your payment details with our secure payment processors.
